APPEARANCE

tamaki is a very slim individual, lightly toned. he has very warm, tawny skin, with two moles underneath his right eye, and additional moles scattered throughout. his lashes are prominent, and he wears deep red lip paint. sometimes, his nails are painted. he has mid length ash brown hair with a sweeping fringe that covers his right eye and two hair loops on either side of his head that look like animal ears. he has burn scars focused on the right side of his body and his right forearm, a large scar over his jugular, and additional scarring throughout.

for clothing, tamaki usually wears a long purple yukata adorned with tatewaku patterns, and a red sash around his waist. underneath, he wears a bodysuit that covers up his neck, arms, and hands, with metal plates. he wears very long socks, and occasionally leg warmers. his sandals are two inches tall. he has earrings, you just never see his ears.

PERSONALITY

though his carefree and energetic personality is not a facade, it hardly covers the entire scope of his character. tamaki is an extremely intelligent person, able to master multiple skills to a useful degree. it's hard to gauge the things he's into because of this. he enjoys just about everything under the sun; from solving complex mathematical formulas to reading through a library's worth of history. however, it seems that he enjoys writing the most, especially poems.

when it comes to matters like combat and medicine, he is a surprisingly honest and pragmatic person. he is valued for his ability to think under great pressure especially, immediately coming up with solutions to problems as they come and, should it fail, weaving right into the next best thing. however, even with tamaki's tactical and intellectual ability, he has trouble when it comes to connections with others, and keeping them strong as well as healthy.

tamaki is very human, and fears rejection, intimacy, and the perception others have on him. he needs appreciation, respect, and care; he has no real desire to conform to the standard, but does want to be actively accepted. it does not come as a surprise that he is someone who is actually very vulnerable and insecure, who puts much of his worth on what others think of him.

FOUNDER'S ERA

in the village of konohagakure, there is a civilian doctor with interesting abilities, and a mysterious past.

no one knows where this man — known simply as ‘doctor tamaki ‘ — came from, only really making himself known after saving uchiha izuna's life from the brink of death. but he was hardly the only one who looked for sanctuary from the violence that tore through the rest of the world, and his gifts were more than welcome to help heal a village of its bleeding wounds.

unbeknownst to the residents, he was the future figurehead of a very wealthy and noble group; the iseri family, in the land of storms. after receiving news of his own betrothal at the age of 15, tamaki ran away from his responsibility as a leader, unwilling to conform to a life laid out for him by a family that rarely considered him one of their own.

GENERATION X

the iseri family has lost much since its days of glory, the founders’ vision for the city of eternity only crumbling as the years followed. in a village lost to the tides of corruption, chaos, and bloodshed, iseri tamaki is born.

iseri tamaki’s gifts were recognized early by the village’s leader, hanzō. caring, intelligent, and gifted with the family’s elusive kekkei tōta, a mere child becomes one of the pivots between obliteration and amegakure surviving the second shinobi war.

during the third shinobi war, when news of the utter annihilation of the peace organization akatsuki rang through the village’s hollow streets, many were devastated. like the skies that plagued their land, hearts too would go grey from hopelessness. after the wipeout of his last platoon sometime after, tamaki’s heart could no longer bear the suffering he had closed his eyes and ears to for the sake of being the perfect soldier. his smoldering soul was not the fire ready to burn through everything and leave nothing behind that it once was, but one that has been snuffed out by the endless rain that befalls amegakure.
